With Ratcliffe in charge of Manchester United, comes the first departure from the English club

Sir Jim Ratcliffe has finally completed the purchase of a share of Manchester United.

Agent Edward reports that the head of INEOS will now be co-owners with the Glazers Family, while he has also made the first changes in the hierarchy of the team.

“Richard Arnold has decided to leave the post of chief executive of Manchester United after 16 years with the club,” said the Manchester United statement.

‚ÄúPatrick Stewart will take on the role of CEO on an interim basis, in addition to his existing role as General Counsel, with Richard continuing to provide transitional support until the end of December. A search process will be carried out for a new permanent director general”.

Ratcliffe has bought a 25 per cent stake in the club, with it expected he will own up to 70 per cent over time.
