Sergio Ramos was the protagonist throughout the week, both for his presence and participation in the “Latin Grammy” ceremony, held in the capital of Andalusia, and for an episode in the last training session of the week.
The Sevilla centre-back stopped his car outside Nervión Sports City to sign autographs and T-shirts, while refusing to sign a Real Madrid shirt.
This has caused an uproar on social networks, for what has been commented as a disrespect from the former captain of Real Madrid towards his former club.
“Before that moment I had already signed about six Real Madrid shirts. And then there are people who auction them off or sell them on the Internet,” said the Spaniard.
In this way, Ramos wants to avoid any kind of controversy with his former team, with which he has had another episode in recent days. It was the birthday of his son Marcos, whose cake featured Sevilla’s coat of arms, but not Real Madrid’s.
Ramos returned to Sevilla during the summer transfer window after previously being part of them 18 years ago.
