Chelsea inform Roma of Lukaku’s price, but the Belgian stays in Serie A only on one condition

Romelu Lukaku has been reborn after his loan to Roma, returning to his best form with the Gialloro shirt.

The Belgian striker joined the Italian side at the end of the transfer window, where he has been crucial for Roma so far.

In 14 official matches, Lukaku has found the goal on nine occasions, while Roma do not have the right to buy him at the end of the season.

However, the two clubs are continuing negotiations to find an agreement, as Chelsea has announced to Roma that they want 38 million euros to let the Belgian free.

But even if Roma will be able to pay this amount, Lukaku is still undecided if he will stay at the Olimpico.

The 30-year-old has set a condition for Rome that in order for him to stay at the Olimpico, Jose Mourinho must remain as coach, or in the case of the Portuguese’s departure, Antonio Conte must come.

Roma is interested in the purchase of the striker, but has not yet decided on a coach, whether it will remain Mourinho or the successor of the Special One.
