Leao announces his return to the field from injury and does not give up the title

Rafael Leao is one of Milan’s main absences, although not the only one in recent weeks.

The Portuguese forward has been absent from the Rossoneri since November 11, when he suffered a muscle pull on the trip to Lecce.

Stefano Pioli hopes to have him ready for the weekend duel, where Milan will play on the road to Atalanta, however the Portuguese himself does not want to rush.

“I feel good. It’s not a serious injury, but I shouldn’t risk it. I am working together with the doctors to avoid the risk, as the championship is long”.

“I feel good, I don’t feel pain. I’m trying to get back to my 100% form to help my teammates. I hope to return as soon as possible”.

“At the moment there is a lot of pressure, but I always say that the pressure is positive. This Milan is very strong. I always try to create a good atmosphere in the team, as well as help my teammates. Especially the young people,” said Leao.

At the very end, he said that they are not in a hurry regarding the title of champion and believe that they can achieve it.

“Yes, we believe in the title. The championship is very long and in the end we can manage to win it”, said Leao.
