Andre Onana seems to understand that his start at Manchester United has been far, far from expectations.

According to what the British tabloid The Guardian has reported, the 27-year-old goalkeeper is now ready to make the decision to skip the Africa Cup of Nations next year.

Cameroon have secured their place in the tournament which runs from January 13 to February 11 with Onana returning in time for the final qualifiers.

Onana, meanwhile, believes he could lose his place as the Red Devils’ first-choice goalkeeper if he leaves for a month right in the middle of his first season.

Thus, the Cameroonian goalkeeper has decided not to travel to Africa to play with Cameroon and wants to dedicate himself to Old Trafford.

This is a great sacrifice from Onana who, after a difficult start, aims to do better with the Dajve e Kuq jersey.
