FLORENTINO PEREZ is reportedly angry and upset at Jose Mourinho’s brutal approach to his transfer dealings with Real Madrid this summer.
The Madrid president is desperate to land Manchester United’s David De Gea, having failed to bring him to the Bernabeu in 2015 when a deal fell through on deadline day.
However, Los Blancos are not backing down in their pursuit of the Spain international and last month saw a £60m bid rejected.
Mourinho is determined to hold onto De Gea and use him as his No1 next season, even though Sergio Romero and Joel Pereira both recently signed new long-term deals.
In Perez’s desperate attempts to convince Mourinho into selling De Gea the likes of Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez, Alvaro Morata and Raphael Varane have all reportedly been mentioned in negotiations over a potential swap deal.
But reports suggest Mourinho is now after Toni Kroos and he would be the only player he’d consider selling De Gea for.
Mourinho playing hardball and his pursuit of one of Madrid’s most irreplaceable players has left Perez frustrated with his tactics, Spanish publication Don Balon claim.
Perez and Mourinho had a good relationship during the Portuguese’s two-year spell in the Spanish capital.
But Perez isn’t pleased with the way Mourinho has gone about pursuing Kroos to keep De Gea out of Madrid’s grasp.
And it seems it isn’t just United chasing Kroos’ signature with reports in Spain, today, suggesting Juventus and Inter Milan, along with the Red Devils, have all lodged bids for the 27-year-old.
