Didier Deschamps seems to have decided on his future and that one person has discovered it.

The president of the French football federation, Noel Le Graet has announced that the coach can decide for himself about his future, while they had a conversation.

“[Deschamps] told me that in any case, he would have refused a contract renewal and that we would see each other after the World Cup,” Le Graet told AFP.

“Whether he renews or not, he will work the same way. If he wins the World Cup, he will probably want to stay. “If he does not, he will probably want to leave.”

“I really appreciate it – you can not say that the decision will be his alone, but it is not far off. “I think that the trust in Didier has given results”, added the head of the French federation.

Zinedine Zidane is expected to replace Deschamps, as his wish was made public years ago.
