He had been waiting for years to take revenge on Materazzi, comes the reaction of the former Inter defender after Ibrahimovic’s confession

Marco Materazzi has responded to Zlatan Ibrahimovic regarding his statements about a clash with the former Inter defender.

The Milan striker has given an interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport warning of his book “Adrenaline”.

He referred to the clashes with the former Italian footballer, whom he also had as a teammate at Inter.

While Ibra was a Juve player, Materazzi had made a serious intervention, while a few years later, he retaliated by hitting him with his elbow, while he was a Milan footballer.

“Materazzi intervened from behind with the intention of hurting you, while we players immediately understand when someone intervenes strongly like Giorgio Chiellini, like Jaap Stam or Paolo Maldini.”

“I had unfinished business with Materazzi for years. I turned it into a derby. “He was flying with his legs raised, I jumped to avoid him and in the process I hit him on the head with my elbow”, said the 40-year-old.

Materazzi seems to have read the interview because this afternoon (Wednesday) he made a post with images of the World Cup and the Champions League trophy, two tournaments that Ibrahimovic has never won.

“Post… No words”, writes in the Matrix post.

Recall that Inter won the treble in 2010, a year after Zlatan left the club.
