Berlusconi “era” starts in Monza – former Inter Milan player joins the club

The first summer and historic hit in Serie A for Monza just climbed for the first time! From Inter, after the end of his contract, arrives Andrea Ranocchia to strengthen the defense, who will be the red and white player from July 1.

The experienced Umbrian defender, who leaves Inter after 223 appearances in all competitions, has signed a contract until 30 June 2024. Born in Assisi on 16 February 1988, he made his professional debut with Arezzo under Antonio Conte , who made his Serie B debut at the age of 18.

In the summer of 2008 he was bought jointly by Genoa, which temporarily sold him to Bari. In Puglia he found Antonio Conte, with whom he immediately focused on climbing to Serie A.

In his first season in Serie A, he is among the discoveries of Bar Ventura, which ranks tenth brilliant. In the summer of 2010 it was Inter who in partnership with Genoa secured the developing defender’s card.

He has a total of 215 appearances in Serie A, 34 between the Champions and Europa League and has also worn the national team jersey 21 times. Ranocchia is now joining the newly promoted Monza in Serie A, bringing experience, personality and a winning mentality
