The management of the Spanish La Liga has forbidden Barcelona to sign a contract with the young player of Borussia Dortmund Yusuf Mukoka.

In that case, the Catalan club would violate financial fair play, claims the famous Spanish journalist Gerard Romero.

He reminds that the Barcelona scouts have been following the 18-year-old Mukoko for months.

The management of the Nou Camp team before the negotiations with Borussia and the young footballer consulted with La Liga and asked for permission to buy new players in the winter transfer window.

However, the leaders of La Liga have told the Catalan club that by hiring a new player they will break the rules of financial fair play.

That’s why the leaders of Barcelona decided to postpone this transfer until the summer transfer window, because Mukoko has a contract with Borussia until June 2023.

Romero claims that it will not be easy for the Nou Camp side to sign the Borussia youngster at the end of the season, as Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham are also interested in him.
