The Bayern Munich club dismissed from the post of goalkeeping coach, Toni Tapalovic, who had been part of the Germans since 2011, while he had also become one of Manuel Neuer’s closest friends, and it has often been pointed out that Tapalovic was also the “secret” for the level displayed by the goalkeeper in all these years.

However, the crisis between Tapalovic and Bayern started when coach Julian Nagelsmann discovered that the goalkeeping coach was spying on the rest of the players what was discussed in the technical staff meet ing. Tapalovic, having a close relationship with Neuer but also with the rest of the “veterans” of Bayern Munich, “spyed” on what was said in the meetings of coach Nagelsmann. A gesture that the 42-year-old technician never forgave, until in the end even the top leaders of the Bavarians sided with the coach by dismissing Tapalovic.

The director of the German record holders, Hasan Salihamidzic, said that Tapalovic has been an important part of Bayern’s successes in recent seasons, thanking the goalkeeping coach, but in the end he emphasized that the moment had come to close the cooperation. On the other hand, the leaders of Bayern are not satisfied with the behavior of Neuer, who as a team leader should have taken a different stance and not accept the “spying” of Tapalovic.

We remember that Neuer can consider this season finished with the goalkeeper suffering an injury after the skiing accident, while his career itself is put into question, seeing that he is already 36 years old.
