Juventus achieved a valuable victory against Cremonese with a clean 2-0 result.
This win has given the Bianconeri some peace of mind, as they now sit in second place with 69 points, three more than Inter and four more than Lazio.
Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri stated that it was a tough match, but the three points from this encounter were crucial.
“We won a difficult game because Cremonese defended very well. In the first half, we could have used a bit more speed when we won the ball. In the second half, we played well, and it was a deserved victory. I am happy,” Allegri said.
Furthermore, Allegri spoke about Paul Pogba’s injury, with the French midfielder leaving the game injured after only 24 minutes. “We are all sorry for Pogba. He was doing quite well, and when he had to leave the game, we faced some difficulties. Naturally, he feels bad because he made so many sacrifices, but he felt pain and had to stop. Paul is a strong man who can overcome this injury,” said Allegri.
“What do we need to do to win the title next season? Firstly, we need to finish this season in the best possible way. Next year, we have to start fighting for the top positions again, but we need a lot of calmness,” concluded the Italian coach.
