Southgate releases the list of players called for the two Euro 2024 qualifiers

England coach Gareth Southgate has invited 25 players to his squad for next month’s Euro 2024 qualifiers.

England currently top their group with six points, having beaten Italy and Ukraine in their first two Euro 2024 qualifiers.

The Three Lions travel to face Malta on June 16 before hosting North Macedonia at Old Trafford on June 19.

Thus, coach Southgate held a press conference today (Wednesday) announcing the list of 25 invited footballers.

The list does not lack star names such as Harry Kane, Jack Grealish, Jude Bellingham, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kyle Walker.

Raheem Sterling is one of the main names not included by Southgate for this squad, while Reece James, Nick Pope and Ollie Watkins are also missing from the list.
