The managers of Manchester United are said to be ready for the ‘broom operation’ this summer and as many as 13 players risk leaving Old Trafford.

United captain Harry Maguire could be one of 13 players to leave the club this summer.

The England star is one of many players that manager Erik Ten Hag will be looking to offload in order to refresh his squad.

The Red Devils want to bring in a top-class centre-forward, a younger striker, a central midfielder and possibly a centre-back.

According to the Daily Mail, David De Gea, Anthony Martial, Diogo Dalot, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Fred, Scott McTominay, Donny van de Beek, Anthony Elanga and Brandon Williams are the others linked with a move away from United.

Apart from them, Eric Bailly, Alex Telles and the loanees Wout Weghorst and Marcel Sabitzer are also linked with the departure.

While all of these players are unlikely to leave, many could be sold to make way for new players.

Maguire is the one who is almost certain to leave, as the tall defender wants to play regular first-team football.
