Real Madrid chiefs are worried striker Karim Benzema has been tempted by an offer from Saudi Arabia.
Benzema is yet to sign a new contract proposal for another 12 months and Real Madrid chiefs are worried about delays.
According to the newspaper Marca, Al Ittihad has offered Benzema a two-year contract worth 200 million euros in total and this has had an impact.
Inside the royal club it is understood that Benzema’s head has been turned by the stunning offer of the Saudi club.
Thus, Los Blancos are trying to convince the Frenchman to sign a new contract, before he is convinced of a transfer to Arabia.
This season, despite injuries, Benzema has scored 30 goals in all competitions and has been the team’s top scorer.
