Antonio Blanco has officially left Real Madrid.
The talented midfielder has been sold to Deportivo Alaves on a permanent deal. However, the club retains 50 percent of the right of return in the future.
In a statement from the club it is said: “Real Madrid CF and Deportivo Alaves have agreed on the transfer of the player Antonio Blanco”.
“Antonio Blanco came to our academy in 2013 at the age of 13 and has been part of Castilla for three seasons. In 2020, he was declared champion of the Youth League with our Juvenil A”.
“Antonio Blanco debuted with the first team in the 2020-2021 season, and took part in the Champions League and the League that Real Madrid won in the 2021-2022 season. He also plays in the Spanish team and was declared European U-17 champion in 2017 and European U-19 champion in 2019.
“Real Madrid would like to express its gratitude and love for Antonio Blanco and wish him and his entire family the best of luck in this new phase,” their statement concluded.
Blanco was promoted with Castilla, but he never got the chance to break into the first team.
