Juventus plans the transfer of Todibo

Juventus has contacted Nice to inquire about the availability of Jean-Clair Todibo, the media in France inform, but the asking price is 30 million euros.

According to RMC Sport, there have been initial contacts to discuss possible terms, but negotiations are at a very early stage.

It seems more likely that the Bianconeri could take him on loan with an option to buy rather than pay the full €30m fee, as he is under contract until June 2027.

Todibo made 46 competitive appearances for Nice last season and is already on the radar of many European clubs.

The 23-year-old plays as a central defender and was only bought by Barcelona in the summer of 2021 for €8.5 million after an initial loan spell.

He has also represented Benfica, Schalke 04 and Toulouse during his career.

Juve have plenty of defenders in the side, but it could open up space if Leonardo Bonucci and Alex Sandro were to find a new club, thus saving many of their high wages.
