Ruben Neves: We didn’t come to Saudi Arabia just for money

Ruben Neves insists he did not sign for Al Hilal just for money.

The 26-year-old backs up Cristiano Ronaldo’s statement, who believes the Saudi Pro League will soon become one of the best in the world following lavish transfers from Europe’s top leagues.

“We didn’t come just for money. We came to a str ong league that aims to be among the best leagues in the world,” Neves said on Al Hilal’s website.

The Saudi League may become important in the future, but for now, they are only a local power in Asia.

But, Neves can be proven right in the future, if the Arab clubs continue to transfer some of the stars of Europe.
