Inter will not sign a player following Marku Arnautovic’s injury as they believe they have adequate replacements in their academy.
The 34-year-old was forced to leave the field early in the challenge that Inter triumphed with a minimal result against Empoli.
After medical tests, it was determined that the Austrian will be out of action for at least six weeks.
Arnautovic has featured in just one game under Simone Inzaghi this season, forcing the manager to find a replacement for the coming months.
As reported by the Italian media, Inzaghi believes that 19-year-old striker Amadou Sarr is capable of playing for the first team after impressive performances with the Primavera.
Sarr trained with Inter’s first team in the summer training camp and is considered the most physically fit player in the youth team.
While Sarr is not expected to get many minutes in the coming months, this will be his first step towards promotion to the Inter first team.
Until now, Inter has a 100 percent positive balance of victories in the elite of Italian football, while in the next challenge it will be the host of Sassuolo.
This challenge will be played on Wednesday, starting at 20:45
