In an interview with FourFourTwo, Declan Rice has spoken about Arsenal’s chances of winning the Champions League for the first time in the club’s history.
The midfielder took Inter as an example of how they reached the final last year, adding that anything is possible.
“Arsenal came so close in 2006 [against Barcelona], so to beat that club has to be great.”
“In club football, the Champions League is the biggest thing you can play in. A club like Arsenal deserves to be in the Champions League and I think anything can happen.”
“Look at Inter last season – they went all the way to the final and nobody expected that, so we can make a big run. I believe we can compete with the best,” Rice declared.
The Gunners under the leadership of Mikel Artetas have done a great job this season too, which they have started quite well.
