Leroy Sane’s nerves betrayed him, he punched an opponent in a friendly match and was sent off

Austria and Germany played a friendly match in Vienna in the presence of 46,000 fans at the Ernst Happel stadium.

It was the Austrians who got a clean victory with a score of 2-0, but what made a lot of noise in this challenge was the red card from Leroy Sane.

The German star of Bayern Munich left the team in the mud near the result 1-0 in the 49th minute, making an unsportsmanlike gesture.

Sane first caused a foul on Philipp Mwenes and then stood up punching him.

This caused the referee to immediately exclude him from the game by punishing him with a red card.

The 27-year-old spoke after the match, apologizing for the gesture, as he said he was disappointed with his performance in the match against Turkey, but also in the challenge against Austria.

“All the blame is on me, this can’t happen to me.┬áMy teammates are not to blame, but neither is the opponent.”

“I was frustrated with my performance in the match against Austria, but also a few days ago against Turkey,” said Sane after the match.
