Barcelona have not managed more than a 1-1 draw since their trip to the Mestalla against Valencia.
It was the second consecutive game without a win in La Liga for the Catalans after last week’s defeat at home to Girona.
Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez spoke after the match saying that for them it was like a final and one point is not enough.
“The same thing as last week happens again to our efficiency. We lost two points against Valencia. “One point was not enough, it was a final,” declared Xavi.
“I am calm, with the same enthusiasm as always. We are on the right track. There were very good feelings in the game, we will improve”, said, among other things, the number one of the Barcelona staff.
Barcelona now find themselves six points adrift of leaders Girona after 17 rounds, although the current La Liga leaders have a game in hand.
In the next round that takes place in the middle of the week, the Catalans will face Almeria where they aim to return to victory.
